- Modality Partnership
Who are Modality Partnership?
Modality Partnership is a single GP led organisation that operates across different locations in England including Birmingham, Sandwell, Walsall, Wokingham, East Surrey, Hull and the Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven area of Yorkshire.
We are the first national GP super-partnership in England. A super-partnership is an organisation that combines the advantages of small GP practices working closely in local communities, with the medical and technological opportunities of a larger scale operation.
We are dedicated to improving healthcare provision with a commitment to NHS values and sharing a belief that the challenges of the growing needs and expectations of patients can be met by operating at a larger scale.
Modality Partnership is one of three GP led NHS England vanguard sites in the country, developing new models of care. Cited as a leading model in delivering high quality innovative care to its patients from The Kings Fund, Nuffield Trust and Dartmouth Institute. Modality Partnership have won several prestigious national awards including the HSJ for technology/innovation categories and GP Practice Awards for community dermatology.
Modality Partnership is not an NHS organisation although it does work closely with it in respect of the services it offers and collaborative approaches to the overall healthcare needs of the local population. Modality has its own contractual terms and conditions and staff handbook, it does not apply those set out within NHS Agenda for Change.
As an independent employer we have greater control over our staff benefits packages as we set what they are and how they are adopted-we are not bound by national agreements set by others. We do however mirror some of the better terms adopted by the NHS, annual leave entitlement being one of them.
As part of our strategy to position ourselves as an ‘employer of choice’ within general practice we are constantly looking to improve our overall employment offer to current and newly appointed staff.
