Six new Council members required for November 2021 – November 2024

Six nationally elected members will retire from Council following the College AGM on 19 November 2021.  Six new members are needed to replace them, for a 3-year term of office from November 2021 - November 2024.

This is an ideal opportunity for ambitious GP’s or groups not represented on Council to become involved in and direct College decision-making.

College Members and Fellows in "good standing" may stand for the office of Nationally Elected Council Member. International Members and Fellows, Fellows Ad Eundem, Honorary Fellows and Associates in Training are not able to stand, nominate or second in elections, however Associates in Training may vote in College national elections, but may not themselves stand, propose or second candidates.

Online nominations may be made between 26 February - 31 March 2021 on the dedicated elections microsite.  CV’s or other documentation will not be accepted. A ballot of the College membership will be held during July to determine the successful candidates.

Further details can be obtained from Rachel Kitchen (rachel.kitchen@rcgp.org.uk ) in the College's Governance team.

Closing date for receipt of nominations - 12 Noon, Friday 31 March 2021
