MedMatch are working with an innovative and forward thinking training medical practice based in Torquay looking for an enthusiastic and committed Salaried GP to welcome to their friendly and highly supportive clinical team.

The practice pride themselves in offering a forward-thinking and innovative approach in delivering exceptional patient care within a friendly ethos and friendly working environment. In addition to supporting their GP’s by reducing admin workload, providing flexibility for working hours, offering career development & partnership opportunities as well as funding/supporting areas of special interests.

Package & Key Benefits:

  •          up to £11,000 per session (depending on experience)
  •          Full Indemnity cover
  •          6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave
  •          NHS Pension contribution
  •          Keen to encourage and support areas of special interest

Breakdown of the practice:

  •          13,000 Patients
  •          7 GP’s
  •          Full nursing support team in place comprising of ANP’s, HCA’s and PN’s etc.
  •          Paramedic on site
  •          Friendly and supportive reception/admin team
  •          EMIS web systems
  •          On site Practice Manager & Business Manager
  •          Training practice
  •          Overall ‘Good’ CQC rating on all domains
  •          High QOF achievement
  •          Weekly clinical meetings and monthly educational meetings

Typical set up of the GP’s day:

  •          12 - 14 patients in the morning
  •          12 - 14 patients in the afternoon
  •          Time allocated for admin
  •          On call shared amongst the team
  •          Very minimal home visits as paramedics cover majority
