Election of Assistant Honorary Secretary at RCGP

The College’s current Honorary Secretary, Prof. Nigel Mathers, is due to demit office in November 2017. We are now seeking an Assistant Honorary Secretary who can succeed Prof. Mathers in the role of Honorary Secretary. The term of office for the post is 4 years, from November 2017 to November 2021.

The vacancy is open to any member of the College in good standing, providing they meet the eligibility criteria. Applicants must be proposed and seconded by two other members, also in good standing. The post-holder will need to spend up to 2 whole days (4 sessions) on College business – College Officer meetings are held Thursday mornings from 8am, so College days are usually Wednesdays and Thursdays, unless other College commitments pertain.
