We are a friendly, stable traditional 3 partner practice looking to recruit a new GP to replace our retiring senior partner.

Our area is semi-rural but not remote with affordable housing and good schools set in lovely, unspoiled countryside free of traffic and congestion.

We are based in Castle Douglas, which is a market town with a list size of 3,800.  We require an enthusiastic GP from June 2017.

Friendly, helpful Support Staff

Modern purpose built premises (no buy in)

Normal sessions:- 9 surgery consultations + 3-4 telephone calls

Low visit rate:- 1 to 2 daily (sometimes less)

Allied health teams on site including:- HV’s, CMHT, D/N’s which means team work is often face to face.
