We have three career development posts in Ayrshire in the West of Scotland

We have exciting opportunities within our General practices across Ayrshire and Arran. If you are looking to build a portfolio career, then look no further.

We need adventurous, forward thinking and dynamic medical practitioners who want to build their careers by joining one of our thriving GP practices within Ayrshire and Arran.

The experience this programme provides is suitable for GPs who have recently completed or are about to complete their GP training, and is a fabulous opportunity to build your own portfolio, skills and experience as well as offering an excellent work/life balance.

We would provide support to allow you to develop your areas of interest in conjunction with local providers and educational institutions. This would include areas such as patient safety, innovation, research and GPwSI work, but could encompass other specialities.

This programme is on a two year contract basis, nine sessions a week. Each GP will be based in a participating GP practice within one of our three Health and Social Care Partnerships in East Ayrshire, North Ayrshire and South Ayrshire.

We have 55 GP practices serving a population of 388,000 across an area of 2947square/km (1138square miles). Our practices would be happy to consider the following if the candidate was the right person for their team:

Partnerships / Salaried GPs / Full or part time / Job share / Portfolio GPs
