Are you interested in spending a year in City and Hackney working across Primary and specialist services? Are you passionate about delivering high quality care to a diverse, mostly deprived, urban population? Our HEE Fellow posts aims to offer exciting portfolio experience combining working in primary care with mental health, urgent and emergency care or Frailty. City and Hackney is a vibrant and interesting part of London to work in, delivering care to a diverse population.

City and Hackney CEPN have a number of innovative salaried posts with local practices and local Trusts with a funded opportunity to undertake a further qualification in Health and Wellbeing. These roles are open to those who have completed GP training in the last 5 years and are able to take up posts from September 2019 onwards. The programme requires a weekly commitment of 10 sessions. This will consist of 2 days in primary care: 2 days in either mental health, urgent and emergency care or care of the frail and elderly and 1 day a week to complete a post graduate qualification in health and wellbeing. There is some flexibility in this programme that can be agreed with the candidate to fit their interests. The City and Hackney CEPN will work with the GP Confederation to offer on-going monthly support and mentorship to the successful candidates.
