SALARIED GPs in Leicester

DHU are looking for salaried GP’s to work at various sites in Leicester. We also offer the opportunity to work in a range of other services including Out of Hours, home visiting and extended access hubs.

  • GP Surgeries in Leicester City within the DHU Urgent Care (LLR) CIC and
  • Leicester City Health joint venture
  • 24/7 Home Visiting Service
  • Telephone triage in the Clinical Navigation Hub
  • Loughborough Urgent Care Centre and various Primary Care Centres

The Successful candidate will have / be:

  • Experience in Primary Care with a good understanding of issues surrounding Urgent Care Services
  • Previous experience of working in an Urgent Care & GP setting dependent on area looking to work
  • Self-motivated, able to work without supervision, using own initiative to complete tasks
  • Well-developed influencing skills combined with a facilitative and supportive style of working
  • MRCGP qualification or equivalent
  • Recent evidence of continued academic and professional development
  • You must be on a Performers List
  • Must be currently registered on a performers List
  • Valid registration with the GMC
  • License to Practice
  • Previous General Practitioner experience and / or Urgent Care experience
  • Experience of dealing with challenging behaviour
  • Full valid driving license and use of a vehicle
  • Flexibility to meet service/Rota needs including annual leave and sickness cover
  • Requirement to meet DBS and other checks that must be satisfactory to DHU Health Care CIC Urgent Care Division (Leicestershire) recruitment process
