Medical Director at Leading National Charity in Central London

You HR Consultancy is delighted to be working with one of the UK's long-standing national charities, based in central London.
Our client is seeking to appoint a Medical Director to join its Executive Team and play a pivotal role in developing the organisations strategic vision to achieve their health and welfare objectives. The Charity is embarking on the development of clinical standards, new models of care and clinical pathways that open up a pioneering approach to welfare provision.
 
We are looking for an individual who exudes passion and commitment in creating quality health and welfare innovations, a vivacious person able to build relations, operate commercially and progress the growth of the health and welfare function of the charity instilling their clinical expertise and knowledge.
 
The successful candidate will need to be a credible clinical leader to forge this new role and secure successful delivery in pushing and creating new opportunities and challenges in a changing professional environment, across multiple industry sectors.
 
Providing the lead role for both clinical (Physical and Mental Health Care) and Welfare provision for its beneficiaries, this new role provides an exciting opportunity to establish groundbreaking outreach prospects and models of care for those the Charity seeks to help on a national scale.
 
As the only clinical member of the Executive team, this role will share responsibility; as part of the senior team, to ensure that the charity exercises its functions with the absolute highest quality and standards of clinical care and welfare.
 
The role requires a qualified and registered clinician who can demonstrate continued professional development, ideally with experience in general practice and a demonstrable portfolio of improving integrated care pathways and transformational change on a local, regional or national level.
 
The successful candidate will also need to prove their influential leadership abilities, leading their team to harness relationships with key stakeholders across organisations with exceptional ability to engage, entice, communicate, manage proficiency and operate with great political acumen.The role will require a commitment of 4 days a week, with an offering salary of circa. £70k plus benefits (pro rata), providing the opportunity for the successful candidate to continue to work in general, research or private practice, as required for this role.
