The Armada Family Practice works from a modern purpose-built health centre with a practice population of 18,000 patients

Our current clinical team comprises of:

5 Partners, 6 Salaried GPs, 2 Nurse Practitioners, a Practice Community Nurse, 2 Practice Pharmacists, 7 Practice nurses and 2 HCAs.

We have a compact practice area which makes home visiting easy and parking is never an issue. We have secure gated parking at the health centre for cars and bikes.

We know how important it is to support newly qualified GPs and 2 partners are RCGP mentors, with 2 further partners becoming GP trainers within the next 2 years.

We meet daily over coffee to sign prescriptions, allocate visits and discuss clinical issues.  We host regular outside speakers at lunchtime meetings.

We are very democratic and encourage all members of staff to contribute ideas to improve our service to patients. In addition we have an excellent management team with whom we work closely.

We use the EMIS-Web clinical platform and are paper-light. We are a consistently high-achieving PMS practice and have recently been rated “Good” by CQC.

Our 5 partner practice wishes to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated GP to join our practice and to help us create a sustainable service for the future.  

We are 25 roadwork-free minutes from Clifton and are also easily accessible from Bath or North Somerset, so you could choose to live in the city or in the beautiful countryside south of Bristol!

We are flexible on number of sessions and include a 6 weeks holiday with an additional 1 week study leave (all pro rata). We will pay your GMC fees and make a pro rata contribution towards your annual MDDUS as part of our group/practice cover plan.
