Primary Care Fellow in City and Hackney

Fantastic opportunity for a Primary Care Fellow in City and Hackney Specialist area Living with, and beyond Cancer

An opportunity has risen to become a Primary Care Fellow in City and Hackney  working with Barts Health and supported by Health Education England, London and South East. The Primary Care Fellowship programme is aiming to develop skilled GPs and primary healthcare professionals, bridging the gap between primary and secondary care.

During the twelve-month Fellowship, the Primary Care Fellow will undertake a programme of clinical and academic training, to gain experience across both generalist and specialist sectors in the clinical area of the fellowship, as well as seeing the full range of primary care conditions. The Fellowship programme requires a weekly commitment of ten sessions with 40% of time in primary care: 40% in Cancer care and 20% on an academic programme.

City and Hackney GP Confederation with Barts Health NHS Trust are offering a fantastic opportunity to develop as a Primary Care Practitioner of the future and welcomes applications from GPs and other health care practitioners to apply for this Fellowship.

Please contact Wendy Majewska, Interim Lead for City and Hackney CEPN for further information or to arrange an informal visit.

This post will start in September 2018 and applications will need to be submitted

in writing with a covering letter and CV to w.majewska@nhs.net
