We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated doctor to join our supportive and dynamic practice. Providing care to approximately 7,400 patients, we are proud of our good local reputation and committed to providing high quality family care to our urban and rural community. We are a long-standing training practice with 3GP partners, 3 salaried GPs, an ANP and 4 Practice Nurses. The practice ethos is one of collaboration and mutual support, aiming to deliver excellent patient care whilst recognising the importance of maintaining a good work/life balance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a variety of GP appointments including face-to-face, telephone and e-consults plus a share of home visits and Duty Doctor. They will also help support the local community-hospital working with our ANP. Our purpose-built premises are shared with the neighbouring practice and our annexed Greencroft Clinic hosts several Health Board services including our Multi-Disciplinary team.

A Golden or Silver Hello is available for candidates meeting the Health Board criteria. We are approved government sponsors so able to provide Tier 2 sponsorship.

Based in the centre of the small historic town of Annan, on the Solway Firth, we are surrounded by beautiful countryside and coast with easy access to both South West Scotland, the Lake District and Northumbria. Annan has excellent transport links being 10 minutes to the A74(M) / M6 motorways, 20 minutes to Carlisle, 90 minutes to Glasgow and 2 hours to Edinburgh. Annan railway station, on the Glasgow to Carlisle line is only a few minutes’ walk from the surgery, making train travel throughout the UK very accessible. The area has easy access to 5 international airports; Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Newcastle and Liverpool.
