Here at Spirit Primary Care we continue to transform and revolutionise the way that we deliver Primary Care services. With a focus on increasing patient access, not only to deal with demand, but to ensure our patients receive the right care when they need it, we are seeking an experienced Triage GP to join our team.

The Role

The sessions will be worked across 3 to 4 half days per week, each half day will consists of triaging a minimum of 50 cases (maximum 65) with a 40% remote closure rate expected. Additionally you will sign scripts (a minimum of 30), process lab reports (20 per session) and letters (5 per session).

You will support a team of Care Navigators remotely and be accessible via remote platforms like Teams to provide support throughout the duration of each session.

Training on local services/pathways will be provided.

You will work to ensure that quality is at the heart of everything we do within the triage hub, meeting patient-focused targets and forming part of our clinical team, providing high quality care to our patients.

The Candidate

As an experienced and qualified Triage GP, you will be familiar with and able to meet the demands of triage. You will have demonstrated experience of meeting targets, as listed above and be able to work confidently in a remote role.

You are an excellent communicator, motivated to deliver high quality standardised care and will want to make a difference - making us and you the best we can be.

You will also have experience using SystmOne.
