Contract Type: Permanent Salaried Contracts - 40 hours or 24 hours contracts per week

Salary: £95000 per annum for 40 hours, pro rata for 24 hour contract.

HCA Healthcare UK is delighted to announce expansion of our Urgent Care Centres within our award winning healthcare group. We are opening a further Urgent Care Centre at The Portland Hospital dedicated to children in July 2018 to complement the existing Urgent Care Centres at our Princess Grace Hospital, The Wellington Hospital and The Lister Hospital.

We are recruiting now for experienced Urgent Care Doctors, listed on the GP register that will be responsible for providing clinical assessment for minor injuries, illnesses and fractures and diagnosis to children on part time or full time contract.

Our Urgent Care Paediatric Doctors will work closely with our highly skilled nursing team to ensure a high standard of patient care is delivered and will be responsible for reviewing paediatric patients typically presenting with aches and pains, allergic reactions, bladder problems, ear, nose and throat conditions, falls, sprains, strains and sports injuries, fever, infections and rashes, minor eye conditions, respiratory and chest complaints, stomach and bowel problems and wounds, cuts and grazes. This may include cannulating paediatric patients, interpreting paediatric X Rays and referring or admit paediatric patients as required

About The Individual

The ideal candidate will be a passionate and dedicated GP registered doctor, with experience in Paediatric Urgent Care, Walk in Centres or A&E. MBBS medical qualified, registered with the GMC and hold current licence to practise, current ALS is also desired. Fundamentally our doctors need to possess excellent patient focused people skills to relate to families and children in distress or discomfort and be a hands on team player that goes the extra mile for colleagues.

If you also have Adult Patient Urgent Care experience, there is opportunity for your role to rotate into our other Urgent Care Centres. Please express at application stage if you would be interested in a rotational post. GP registration is essential for our Urgent Care Doctors.
