About us:

Chapelthorpe Medical Centre is a well–established, semi–rural training practice with a list size of 13800 patients close to J39 of the M1 making it easy to commute from the North and South.

We have 6 partners, 3 salaried GPs and ANP and an ACP working alongside our multi–skilled team. This includes clinical pharmacists, pharmacy technician, social prescribers, health and wellbeing coaches, occupational therapist, care coordinators and MSK first contact practitioners.

We were early adopters of online consultations and have evolved our approach within the changing primary care landscape pre and post covid. We now operate a total flow triage system via askmyGP alongside a more traditional appointment list of face to face, telephone and online consultations.

Start date August onwards with flexibility, we are interested to hear from both experienced and newly qualified GPs.

Why should you join team Chapelthorpe?

Teamwork – We are a supportive training practice, value our team and aim to maintain a good work/life balance. We have a sociable, well–stocked hub (with snacks and coffee!) We take an active role in our PCN – one of our partners is a Clinical Director and planned care and cancer lead for the ICB.

Low admin burden – Our administrative team process and code documents to reduce admin workload. Our nursing team also process pathology results for long term conditions and shared care. We have low numbers of home visits thanks to our GP trainees, ACP home visiting team and weekly care home round.

We have a modern, purpose built practice. We have been a training practice for many years and currently train GP trainees, foundation doctors and nurses.

Does this sound like the right job for you?
