Salaried GP

An exceptionally efficient and well-run practice, in the culturally diverse Thornton Heath. They have an innovative process ensuring patients have an on-the-day service with no waiting! Communication across the team is excellent, with a daily 30-minute coffee and huddle. There is no duty doctor system and no extended hours. Session rate is very competitive, and they can offer progression to Partnership.

£11,000-£13,000 per session + NHS Pension + 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave.

The Surgery

• GP Training Practice, Nurse and Pharmacist Training Practice.
• Forward thinking, innovative practice near Croydon University Hospital.
• Daily 30-minute coffee break to ensure good communication across the practice.
• Exceptionally forward-thinking patient on-the-day processes.
• Normal 'office-hours' 9:00-5:30/6:00pm.
• Admin on a rota, never overwhelming.
• Team focused, friendly, non-hierarchical culture.
• Well managed prescribing, all medication reviews are f2f.

Your role -

• 4-8 sessions available.
• Innovative patient handling - all patients called by a GP on the same day (capped numbers).
• No duty doctor due to the way the work with patients.
• No extended hours for Salaried GPs.
• Very low home visits - (1 per month approx. for Salaried GPs, GP pauses their workload for the day)
• Newly Qualified GPs and Experienced welcome.
• Partnership considered.
