Salaried GP 4-6 sessions Wandsworth SW18

Our practice serves 16500 patients in a leafy inner London borough with excellent transport links. Our team includes nurses, pharmacists, first contact physiotherapists, a mental health worker, psychologist and a social prescribing link work, as well as a multi skilled and supportive admin team. Our brand new premises (next door) are just a few months from completion.

We are seeking a salaried GP for 4-6 sessions per week, Monday to Friday – days are flexible. The position is available as soon as you can start. Salary is competitive and according to experience.

Benefits include 15 minute appointments, 6 weeks leave and 1 week study leave (pro rata), option for a late session bonus, free staff car park and pro-rata contribution towards your medical indemnity.

We are a GP training practice, teaching undergraduates from nearby St George’s Medical School, and we host a community paediatric consultant-led service.  We run a Covid vaccine service on site and we are closely involved in our local ICS and GP federation.

Our PCN of 3 practices work closely together, share services such as IUCD/IUS and minor ops, and we are approved as a Learning Environment. We operate an innovative total triage eHub across our 3 sites.

As a PCN we team up for peer support and education. We have daily coffee time, weekly practice meetings and monthly PCN meetings. We use common back office systems across our PCN and we have team members who work across more than one practice. In this way, we achieve more together.

We provide structured induction and mentoring in a supportive environment, and there is exposure to a broad spectrum of clinical work.

You will have lots of potential to develop your own area of expertise and this role is suitable whether you are a GP new to practice, or a more experienced GP.
