Salaried GP

Excellent opportunity in Oxford for as Salaried GP to join a well established practice.

The role is within a GP Practice in Oxford, working from a single site. There is a traditional set up in place with a Partnership, who oversee a dedicated team of Salaried GPs, Nurses and support from community staff.

You will be working on either a part time or full time basis, using EMIS. The sessions are reasonably managed and there is a level of flexibility that you can have over your planning. The practice has implemented a triage system which is working well with patients and staff alike.

The practice has a lovely purpose built premises with parking on site, and the practice is easy to get to from Oxford and the areas south of Oxford such as Abingdon and Wallingford.


Key Duties

  • 4-8 sessions
  • EMIS
  • Triage first basis
  • Triage Dr rota which is allocated between all GPs
  • 15 patients per session
  • Telephone and face to face
  • Support from wider MDT including HCAs, Nurses and Pharmacist
  • Single site practice
  • Training practice with option to get involved in teaching and training etc.
  • Home visit may be required on occasion


Package and Benefits

  • £10,950 per session
  • Up to 8 sessions available
  • £87,600 per annum FTE
  • NHS Pension
  • 6 weeks AL
  • 1 week CPD


Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

  • GP registered on the GMC
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Included on the NHS Performer's List
