The Blue Mountains are located 1 hour west of Sydney and are a UNESCO World Heritage listed site. Known for dramatic scenery, rugged sandstone tablelands, wilderness, valleys, waterfalls, rainforests, lookouts, canyons and so many wonderful walking trails. There’s also an abundance of wildlife, including kangaroos, wallabies and vibrant bird species. Overall, the Blue Mountains is a sanctuary of natural beauty, adventure, and tranquillity were you could work and live!
The role
We have several opportunities for GPs to join our Upper Mountains Medical Centre in Katoomba. The centre has been established in the community for years and will be moving into a brand-new health hub at the end of the year. The new centre will accommodate 20 doctor consult rooms, a 4 bed treatment room, 2 procedure rooms and allied health and pathology will be on site.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in Australia, in a brand new medical centre with an established patient base and joining a team of knowledgeable and experienced GPs and support staff. You’ll be working as a contractor, meaning you can work when and how you want giving you the flexibility to enjoy Australia. The best bit is we take care of all practice management, nurse support, administration, property maintenance and marketing, leaving you to focus on patient care.

Requirements
GPs who hold their MRCGP are eligible to move to Australia and work in on one our Distribution Priority Area centres. We will discuss your personal circumstances and qualifications further to determine your requirements.
