Private Doctor – GP – Salaried Position in Aberdeen

ROC Private Clinic is a private medical clinic with office in London and Aberdeen.

We are recruiting for a full-time (40 hrs) fixed term contract GP to cover for maternity leave and supplement our current clinics. The position is for the Aberdeen based clinic, with a start date 1st May 2018.

It is highly likely that the position will become permanent on completion of the fixed term contract.

Being on the GP register is a must and you ideally hold MRCGP.

Previous experience as a private GP is not required. 1 year minimum experience as a GP post-training is preferred but not essential. We will provide intensive training and supervision.

Specialist interests are welcome; the clinic will work with you to further develop your interests.

The Clinic is a Designated Body with the GMC and as such provides an appraisal and revalidation system. We provide in house/ sponsored 15 CPD points per annum of clinical training.

The clinics consist of approximately 80% GP consultations (from new borns to old age) and 10-20% Occupational health checks. Training will be provided for all areas that are new to you.

The ideal candidate must be dedicated to providing excellent care. We aim to bring the latest in medicine to our patients and therefore keeping up to date is paramount for us. You will work within a wider team of GP and specialists and you will therefore have the opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss cases and progress. Our standard consultations are of 30 minutes duration.
