General Practitioner - OOH Worcester

Be the doctor you want to be (and more)

Care UK is the country’s largest independent provider of NHS services — which means we have a constant need for the best and brightest medical talent.

We have permanent opportunities within our OOH service in the region of Worcester. We can offer a variety of working locations across the region including Kidderminster, Redditch, Evesham and Malvern.

Applicants must be qualified General Practitioners (MRCGP or equivalent.)

Duties will include carrying out clinical assessment of patients in an out of hours setting, either in a clinical base, via telephone triage or visiting (car) services.

With us, GPs have the opportunity to develop their skills across a whole range of areas — in everything from walk in centres, GP practices, SARCs, urgent care centres, out of hours GP services to offender health.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a GP who’s looking to broaden their clinical experience or looking for more flexible hours. We can give you the freedom and variety to develop a more fulfilling career.

Part or full time hours (40 hours per week) are offered, a salary of up to £110,000 per year (full time) is offered, in addition to reimbursed indemnity cover.

We have over 17 years’ experience of delivering full GP out of hours services across England. And we were one of the first providers to set up an NHS exemplar site, based in West London, and have become the largest provider of full out of hours services in the country covering over eight million patients.

Please note that offers of employment are subject to receipt of satisfactory references and a DBS check.
At Care UK, we actively promote diversity and equal opportunities.
