CHAIR OF TRUSTEE BOARD (2018)
Applications are sought from suitably-qualified persons (see person specification) for the position of Chair of the RCGP Trustee Board, to take up office immediately following the College's AGM on 23 November 2018.
This is a key College position, with responsibility for oversight and scrutiny of the College as a Charity, Corporate Governance, Legal, Finance, Audit, Risk Management, IT & HR functions. The term of office is for 3 years initially, renewable for a further 3 -year term.
The Chair is expected to work 1-2 sessions per week, and to be available from Wednesday evenings/ Thursdays * for meetings with College Officers .( * Attendance at Leadership Team Thursday morning every fortnight). In addition to the scheduled Trustee Board meetings x 4 p.a.., attendance at Council meetings x 4 p.a. on alternate Fridays /Saturdays is also required.
