GP Locum Maternity cover 12 mths Scarborough

GP Locums needed for maternity cover in Scarborough.

This Surgery has a flexible approach to division of roles and responsibilities within a small friendly and experienced practice team.

The clinical teams are also well supported by an excellent administration and management team; this allows GPs to concentrate on clinical work. I am looking for a GP who is able to commit and work well with the team on site. Looking for 5 days a week , Maternity cover for 12 months. Will take commitment of 1 plus days per week, ad hoc sessions also considered.

Must Haves!

Must have an in date DBS within the last 3 years and all up to date mandatory trainings completed.

Must be able to complete telephone triage calls as well as be able to see F2F patients (may have more F2F in the next few months with the surgery trying to move back to the way things were before covid, however will still have telephone triage calls in the clinic)

Desirables!

Be able to complete light surgery admin such as signing repeat prescriptions and completing any bloods that come through.

Home visits local to the surgery triaged first prior to them being put on the visiting list. max 2 visits

Breakdown:

- 17 AM contacts and 15 PM

- Mixture of telephone triage calls + F2F patients

- Associated admin (with maybe some surgery admin)

- Catch up slots for admin

- Systm One

- Rate negotiable - starts at £650 a day
