HUC is an integral part of the greatest health service in the world. We take pride in what we achieve and are committed to investing in our people and our services, so that we can do more for our patients and make a real difference to the communities that we serve.

As Deputy Head of our Clinical Assessment Services (CAS), you will play a crucial role in leading the development of our award-winning remote clinical service, transforming health provision to make it smarter, faster and more responsive to patients’ needs. Using your experience as a senior leader within integrated urgent or primary care, you will also hold responsibility for the oversight of a wide range of clinicians from GPs to Pharmacists.

Your passion as a visible, hands-on leader will enable you to shape a service where your appetite for continuous improvement is shared. Whilst you’ll build trust and drive engagement, you’ll not be afraid to challenge the status quo to develop the best practices and seek out new opportunities. Great communication will be also crucial as you will represent HUC externally with our stakeholders, including commissioners and other partners in the health economy.

There is lots to do, which means new opportunities, new challenges and great personal and professional development. You can expect plenty of variety in your role and in return you’ll receive great benefits and have plenty of scope to develop new ideas.
