We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Locum GP to join one of our prestigious client's practices in delightful Bridlington, East Riding of Yorkshire at £855 per day. This is a block booking from March for a minimum of 6 months for Thursday and Fridays.

The hours are 08:00 to 18:00 although they are flexible with the start and finish times. These shifts come with an unpaid break of 30 minutes as the shift is over 6 hours.

About the job:

All GP appointments are telephone consultation in the first instance and the GP has face to face appointments later in their rotas to bring the patients in face to face if required. Current clinic set up is as follows:

Morning clinic - 08:00 to 13:00

• 12 x 10 Mins telephone appointments (mix of pre-booked and same day)
• 3 x 15 Mins face to face appointments
• 2 x 5 Mins NHS111 slots
• 120 Mins admin time which includes Home Visit time

Afternoon Clinic - 13:30 to 18:00

• 12 x 10 Mins telephone appointments (mix of pre-booked and same day)
• 3 x 15 Mins face to face appointments
• 2 x 5 Mins NHS 111 slots
• 105 Mins admin time

The practice supports the co-located Nurse-led Urgent Treatment Centre: The majority of the UTC patients are seen, treated and discharged by Advance Nurse Practitioners.  However, if a GP review is required they will ask one of the GPs to see the patient.  These slots (10 mins) are included in the breakdown above (i.e. the GP may have 10 x telephone slots and 2 x UTC slots).

During admin time the GP will be expected to respond to and action tasks, review and action pathology results, review and action clinic and discharge letters, etc.  At the end of clinic there is time for admin and any home visits.
