We have an opportunity for a full time substantive salaried Relief GP post.   The postholder will be employed by NHS Shetland and will have the opportunity to work in any of our ten health centres, covering annual leave, vacancies and short term ill health.  All our practices use EMIS and DOCMAN.  This is an exciting opportunity which will allow you to develop your skills.  Working across the practices will give you an insight into the different size of practices we have in Shetland and successful candidates will have the option to develop specialist interests e.g. paediatrics, obstetrics, dermatology etc should this be of interest.

  • Salary Range £61,499 - £92,805 per annum
  • Distant Islands Allowance £1,738 per annum
  • Local Retention Premium of 2% of basic salary
  • Relocation Allowance of up to £8000
