BARRA -ISLAND 24/7 COVER

10th - 16th February

5th - 15th March

9th - 19th April 

1st May onwards - Any dates considered ( a week or more)


The hospital has 5 inpatient beds which serve a population of 1200 patients.  The Barra role is a 24/7 model/on call.   Support is provided by a team of nurses.    Complex patients are airlifted off island to mainland or Western Isles Hospital. 

Self-catering accommodation provided and travel costs paid.

Mileage Rate: 25p             

Rate: £4200 per week  ( higher rates can sometimes be negotiated in exchange for extra cover)

         
UIST

**Any Dates Considered**

**A weeks OOH cover could consist of 14 hour evening shifts during week and 24 hours each day per weekend ***

The Uist Hospital out of hours - includes both GP out of hours and A&E.  The hospital has 17 inpatient beds.  Support is provided by an experienced nursing team with a range of skill sets.  Complex patients are airlifted off island to mainland or Western Isles Hospital.

Week night shifts                    Weekend Shifts

18:00 - 08:00                          24 hours with 2nd on call GP

Mileage rate: 0.25p

Self-catering accommodation provided and travel costs paid.

Rate: £60 per hour PAYE - ( higher rates can sometimes be negotiated in exchange for extra cover)
