West Wight Medical Practice is innovative and forward thinking with a broad clinical team of 3 GPs, a Nurse Consultant, 3 ANPs, a Pharmacist and a full team of additional AHPs, and we need at least one more GP to help us complete the team! This is an exciting opportunity to join a company limited by shares providing high quality Primary Care Services in a rural setting on the beautiful Isle of Wight.

The practice is at the forefront of clinical and organisational redesign under the Vanguard banner, covering a population of around 10,700 in the West of the Island from purpose built premises. 

We encourage creativity, engagement and success without the need for investment or any of the other associated costs and liabilities of a traditional partnership.  Company Directorship is possible, enabling you to influence direction and development, if interested, alongside your GP duties.

We are high QOF achievers (96.5%) last year, and achieved a ‘Good’ CQC score in all areas last year. 

We are looking for (an) additional colleague/s working up to 8 sessions per week in our busy Practice.  

Remuneration includes salary in the region of £95k, plus medical defence fees, and potential future dividends.  In addition we offer 6 weeks holiday plus 2 weeks study leave, and there may be assistance towards relocation costs, depending on circumstances.
