Advanced Nurse Practitioner - Work from home (E-consult only) - £47,000 + NHS Pension

 A truly unique opportunity for an ANP to work from home doing e- consult only!

Capped at a maximum of 40 per day.  

This is essentially working through 40 emails per day- with no real-time communication/ Triage

How it works:

The patient fills in a form that gathers information about a query that will be in your inbox (including a photo where applicable). You would then either reply in the case of simple everyday queries or refer them to a questionnaire-based online consultation using a web-based form which will determine the most appropriate clinical pathway on a case by case basis.

There is no requirement to ever physically attend the practice in person.  Any necessary communication will the onsite team will be performed remotely.

State-of-the-art equipment will be provided for you to be able to set up a consulting space in your own home or chosen workspace with any and all training provided. 

This position can be performed anywhere within England and will be well supported by strong clinical and non-clinical team teams based on site. 

Although your work will be entirely remote you will still very much be part of a real and long-standing practice team that work day to day on site in a traditional GP practice setting based in Merseyside.

Like any other member of their clinical team, you will have an NMC approved contract in place (inc annual leave, sick leave, maternity, etc) all in place, in addition, to fully eligibility for NHS pension.

Other remote ANP roles within general practice are typically with large private companies that act as secondary providers to the NHS via digital platforms or app-based service providers that do not offer any of the benefits mentioned above. 

Also unlike secondary providers, you will have a direct line of communication with the decision-makers who are flexible, forward-thinking, and innovative, and actually listen.

ANP clinicians working through these e-consults massively contributes to the onsite staff  overall efficient delivery of care by:

• Reducing time spent on information-gathering
• To take control over their day to day workload
• Making more effective use of working time
• Freeing up onsite clinical space.
• Creating more time for more complex patient care

The position is available both full-time and part-time (full-time is Mon - Fri) -

no set start/finish time - as long as you get through your 40 allocated e-consults
