General Practitioner - North Colchester Healthcare Centre
Care UK are the leading independent providers of NHS services across the country. Our facilities provide primary care to patient populations in Out-of-Hours, Walk-In-Centres, GP Practices, Offender Health and Telephone Consultation.
Our North Colchester Healthcare Centre is now recruiting for General Practitioners to join a high-quality, well performing service on a salaried basis.
Based in Colchester, the centre offers a wide range of NHS services from 7am to 10pm, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Enhancing healthcare in the area, it makes seeing a GP, receiving treatment for minor illnesses and injuries, and access to health advice, much more convenient for local people.
The service treats a variety of patients across the local community, with a mixture of registered patients and those availing of the Walk-In service. The demographics of the population are of a relatively young age with the majority of those patients aged between 0-40. Therefore, as a GP in the service, you will expect to treat a variety of issues, with very few long term conditions.
You will be receptive to the needs of patients, relatives and carers at all time looking at quality outcomes. We require General Practitioners who are accountable, and can manage clinical care and facilitate general management through partnership with the practice management team. We will give you a chance to work in an environment that is supported by clinical peers and robust governance.
At Care UK, we also put a strong focus on development and continued development. As such, you can take advantage of the investment in educational sessions and events to count towards you CPD. We also offer further training, as well as a robust, clinically led management structure of experienced GPs, who will give you the advice and support you need.
In addition to a competitive salary of £105,000 per annum on a full-time basis, we also offer reimbursement for indemnity costs, alongside other benefits. At this time, we are able to facilitate both full-time and part-time positions within the service.
