Practice in small Newfoundland city only 4 ½ hours from UK!

A great opportunity to practice as a GP in a smaller city.

If you are looking for an exceptional work-life balance, then St. John’s in Newfoundland may be for you!

This city of 120,000 residents was established by the British in the 1600’s and today you can walk some of the same narrow streets.  Jellybean homes is the name given to the attractive row houses in a multitude of colours. On some of the oldest streets in the New World you will find cute shops, lively pubs, boutiques, cafes and unique art galleries.

The clinic:  You will practice in a modern clinic with eight exam rooms, three private doctor’s offices and a fully equipped procedure room. This clinic is one of several in a small group. It is fully staffed to take care of the admin work so you can focus on practicing medicine.

Earnings will be approximately £165,000. You earn income on a fee-for-service arrangement (typical in Canada) so the more you work, the more you earn!

The clinic is open Monday to Friday, and you will serve a mix of appointment and walk-in patients.

Incentives: A generous relocation allowance is available. There is also a retention premium available. An accommodation package is also negotiable.

Mandatory requirement: MRCGP, MICGP, RACGP, ACRRM, DABFM or CCFP

At Canada Medical Careers there is never any cost to you for our recruitment services and we pay your immigration legal fees! Contact for more information.
