GP Locum Island 24 Hour cover , Shetland!

One of the small Islands off the mainland of Shetland are needing GP cover over the coming months.

This is  24 hour cover , you will be the sole GP for the Island. 

There are morning and afternoon clinics during the week and a morning clinic on a Saturday. Mainly tel calls, seeing patients where necessary. normal paperwork and the odd house visit. The rest of the time you will have the Mobile phone and be on call.  The Practice has 1050 Patients and uses Emis & Docman.

Accommodation will be provided for you (A 2 bed Cottage) and internal travel once on Shetland arranged for you.

Good daily rates

They require cover for the following dates: ( you would travel the day before and leave on the last date in the morning)

30th August - 4th September
11th September - 17th September
17th September - 24th September
24th September - 4th October
11th October - 18th October
18th October - 25th October
25th October - 1st November
1st November- 8th November
8th November- 15th November
15th November- 22nd November


**If you could do some of the days, they would consider, but it has to be at least 5 days**
 
As this is rural Island cover they would require the GP to have BASICS, ALS or experience of emergency cover.
