Park Surgery in Horsham, West Sussex has an opportunity for a 6 session salaried GP to cover a Partner’s maternity leave. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is willing to step up into this role and will thrive on the challenge with a salary to match.

Park Surgery is a large practice with 24,000 patients and supporting infrastructure to match. The team comprises 11 partners, 5 salaried GP’s, 3 ANP’s, 1 PA, 1 Clinical Pharmacist and an extensive PCN workforce consisting of Clinical Pharmacists, a Pharmacy technician, Social prescribers, a Care Co-ordinator, a First Contact Physio and a Physician’s Associate.
We are passionate about training and currently have Registrars, Physicians Associates, Medical Students and Trainee Practice Nurses.
Partners operate from a personal list system.
We’re a Park Run friendly practice integrated with our local community, situated a few hundred meters from our local course.
Excellent working relationships within our PCN.
We hold twice weekly clinical meetings- patient safety, palliative care, prescribing and Frailty MDT with community Geriatrician.
Our Communications room manages incoming call handling, care navigation and triage with assistance from ANP’s.
We are lucky to have excellent Practice Co-ordinators who liaise with the community nursing teams, OOH and Nursing Homes and help support our vulnerable population
Excellent nursing team managing Long term conditions – including initiation of insulin
Direct referral Ultrasound on site – AQP NOUS
Our clinical system is TPP SystmOne used alongside Lexacom Dictation
Our Workflow Redirection team ensures clinician’s need review only those documents requiring clinical review.
We are currently leading our PCN in the Covid Vaccination Programme having already given over 30,000 vaccines.
Excellent supplementary local support in the form of- Local Minor Injuries Unit, Urgent Care Centre and Clinical Assessment Unit.
